Opening RECAP: motherHOOD

We appreciate everyone who joined us on Friday, May 12, 2023 for the opening reception of motherHOOD, a photovoice project and exhibition highlighting Black and Latina/x motherhood in all forms, led and curated by Lauren Temple with support from BIZ Stoop and Stay Arts. A special thank you to the twelve incredible mothers that made this exhibition possible by sharing their stories, insights, and hearts with the community. Another special thank you to La Vie en Rose for the beautiful charcuterie board, and to Alegría and Josue for helping to make the night run smoothly!

motherHOOD will be on view during gallery hours: Wednesday – Friday from 2 – 7pm with free admission. A closing reception will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 6 – 9pm.
